"Non-Tourist Ladoga"

The route passes along one of the most beautiful roads of Karelia. Locals call this road the Blue Road. We will cross many rivers and rivers, lakes large and small, as well as pass along the largest freshwater lake in Europe - Lake Ladoga.
1 stop - Kiryawalahti

It is here that the Dacha of the Union of Composers (Dacha of the apothecary Yaskeleinen) is located. It was here that the unspoken anthem of our republic was written – the song “Long will Karelia dream”
2 stops - Rautalahti
We will visit the Master's Museum. This is a private interactive museum of the Volovs. The museum has a large ethnographic exposition.
Next, we will walk along the “church slide” – this is the project “Northern Thevaida”
3 stop, Kitel.
The place of extraction of semi-precious stone of pomegranate-almandine. It is the crown of the Swedish king. We will get ourselves a semi-precious stone - a free souvenir from Karelia.
4 stop - Mükrovaara Mountain

5 stops - 2 waterfalls - Koirinoukoski and Muljakoski
(provided that we are on time.) It all depends on group mobility.
The first waterfall is famous for the fact that a smelting plant once stood on this place. Here for the first time in Russia received tin.
The second waterfall is located on the site of a former Finnish farm. At this place was first a small hydroelectric power station, then a mill.
The route is interesting because it is non-tourist trails, non-tourist Karelia. But that makes it beautiful. There are few tourists here. These objects are known mainly by local residents.
