Soviet District Museum and Exhibition Center

Museum business arose in the city of Soviet in the mid-70s, first the museum in the administration, then in the school, and a separate exposition on the history of the district exists since 1985. It presents the history of its industrial development and ethnography of the peoples of the North Khanty and Mansi. Of particular interest to visitors are the halls dedicated to archaeology, where monuments from the 8th century and the middle of the Middle Ages are presented.
