Ilmen fish tasting

The tasting of Ilmen fish is dedicated not only to fishermen of our Old Russian region, the revival of the fishing industry, but also to the simplest, favorite and tasty fish, which everyone is happy to see on their table, regardless of the level of prosperity.
Tasting fish products, songs and stories about your favorite fish, competitions and auctions, and meetings with interesting people, this is a small concert, it's all about our Ilmen fish.
Old Russian fish tasting is a new holiday in our region. Creating new holidays, new traditions, we will be able to feel full-fledged, loving owners of our land.
The excursion programme;
Departure of the bus from Staraya Russa in the direction of Lake Ilmen to the ancient village of Vzvad. Stop in the village of Korpovo and inspect the temple of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker, moving to the village of Vzvad. Inspection and visit the fish factory, where you can buy dried or smoked Ilmen fish. After the excursion program, tasting at the Ilmen fish on the basis of "Hunter and Fisherman" with songs, frequencies, jokes and extravagances, accompanied by a folk ensemble.
