Celebration of Old Russian Pie

Russian people have always been famous for hospitality, in each house they offered the best dishes and drinks and, of course, rosy, lush pies. Here you can try delicious cakes prepared according to old Novgorod recipes and in the Russian style.
Keeping the best traditions of the Novgorod feast, we offer to treat you to branded old Russian pies of our own production.
The first pies in Russia, “honey bread”, appeared around the IX century, were a mixture of rye flour with honey and berry juice.

Later, herbs and roots, various fillings from vegetables began to be added to “honey bread”, and in the XII-XIII centuries, when exotic spices brought from the East began to appear in Russia, bread received its name, and almost finally took shape in the delicacy that is known to us, Russian pie.
Not a single merchant’s feast or tea party took place without traditional Russian pies. We suggest drinking graced tea with homemade ruddy pies with different fillings.
