The Art Museum in Old Oskol

The museum was created on the basis of a collection of paintings and graphics handed over by the Moscow Painting Combine, the Moscow Directorate of Art Exhibitions, the Kursk People's Gallery named after A. Deineka, the Belgorod State Museum, which included works by famous People's Honored Artists of the republics of the former USSR. The painting section presents various areas of art, from socialist realism to the avant-garde. The graphics section adorns the collection of etchings by the famous Ukrainian artist E. Kozakevich. DPI is represented by unique collections of famous folk schools: Dymkovskaya, Filimonovskaya, Kursk, Uzbek, Tajik, etc.
