About the company:
Perhaps few people know this name - Vasily Yakovlevich Eroshenko, but he was a courageous and talented man whose willpower defeated the disease. Being blind almost all his life, having lost his sight in childhood, he nevertheless managed to become a writer and poet, a linguist, a teacher. Among other things, he was a connoisseur of Esperanto, who also managed to learn in addition to the twelve foreign languages that he already knew. Professor of Peking and Tokyo universities, he became a classic of children's literature in Japan. This great, in general, man was born in a simple estate of the city of Stary Oskol, and it was decided to make a house-museum in it. So began the work on the reconstruction of the interiors of the house in which V.Ya.Eroshenko lived, and now everyone can go to the museum and see the everyday objects of the writer and teacher, his documents and books. The exposition of the museum has more than a thousand items. On the basis of the museum, master classes on origami have also been created, classes on the history of the native land are held with schoolchildren. On the territory of the museum there is an oak-long-lived, which has more than four hundred years. The museum is always happy not only for schoolchildren, but also for adults who wish to learn more about the talented countryman.
