Municipal Historical and Local History Museum of Strezhevoy

In 1991 the Municipal Museum of Local History was transformed from the branch of the Tomsk Regional State Historical and Architectural Museum by the decision of the Executive Strezhevsk City Committee No. 211 of 6.11.1990.

Currently, the museum is housed in a typical one-storey brickwork building next to the school of art, a hotel and a picturesque park area. The history of Strezhevoy does not constitute a centuries-old history and many of the Strezhev residents who left a noticeable mark in the history of the city still live near us. The museum includes the creators of the history of the city, their children and their grandchildren.

The museum is loved and visited by Strezhev residents of different ages, because it tells about the history of the city, its founders, pioneers, builders, just residents of the city.
