"Christmas in Kashira"

Excursion with elements of the quest "Christmas in Kashira" takes place along the main street of the historical part of the suburban city of Kashira for children of primary and secondary school age. The venue is Sovetskaya street of Kashiry (100 km south of Moscow, Paveletsk direction).

• During the tour, children will see the buildings of the XIX-XX centuries, the Bread and Cathedral Square of the city of Kashira, will be convinced of the implementation of the Decree of Catherine the Great and will learn the concept of a city plan.
• The location of the Vvedensky temple, the temple of Nikola Ratny, the Assumption Cathedral and other "stations" will be determined.
• You will get acquainted with the monuments to Sagittarius, A.S. Pushkin and Sergey Radonezhsky, focusing on the map.
• Participants will answer quiz questions.
• They will receive useful information in an interesting form about the most important events in the history of Russia on the example of the ancient, merchant and military city of Kashira.
• They will learn how Christmas was celebrated in Kashira 200 years ago and where the tradition of celebrating the City Day came from.
