Stupin City Art Gallery "Nika"

The gallery was created in 1996 by Nikolai Vasilyevich Avdeev, Honored Worker of Culture of the Moscow Region: a man of encyclopedic knowledge, theorist and ascetic of art.
The concept of the gallery is built on the understanding that art is a powerful creative force. The values created by art are inviolable and must be preserved for the formation of new generations.
The gallery today is a fully functioning and actively developing cultural organism. A place where everyone can enjoy the contemplation of paintings, reflect, relax their soul and just communicate.
The collection consists mainly of donated works and has more than 2000 items of storage. These are the works of folk and honored artists of Russia: V. Favorsky. O. Vereysky, N. Barchenkova, D. Gorlova, A. Marza, I. Vorobyeva and others. And also works of Stupin artists: N. Ustinov, F. Skvortsova, M. Korzhev, V. Romantsev, E. Dmitriyadi, B. Chaikin, T. Starostina, O. Patsukova, V. Vidyapina, etc.
Excursion service of the gallery is carried out taking into account the age and personal characteristics of visitors. Traditional was the holding of professional artists master classes. They are held for different age groups and introduce visitors to the methods of work with various artistic materials, show the features of the use of artistic techniques.
The gallery hosts exhibitions: thematic, personal, art associations. Openings of the exhibitions are accompanied by performances of artists of the concert association “musical living room” of the Stupin Philharmonic and poets of the Stupin literary association “Redniki”. Over the 16 years of the gallery’s existence, about 140 exhibitions have been held. Traditional exhibitions have become: "Golden Rose" to the International Women's Day, spring and spring collective exhibitions of Stupin artists, to the Victory Day. In the permanent exhibition are the works of famous Moscow animal artists.
