Sudak

Legacy of Genoa and the Russian Empire

Description:

Sudak is located on the eastern coast of the Crimean Peninsula. The city with a centuries-old history was one of the largest commercial ports in the Black Sea region. Here was built a fortress called Genoa. It was built by merchants from Genoa and for several centuries controlled the coast of the Crimea from Kafa to Chembalo (from Feodosia to Balaklava).

Just twenty minutes drive from Sudak is the village of Novy Svet, where Prince Lev Golitsyn lived and built a factory of champagne wines New Svet, this plant was once famous throughout Europe. Also Lev Golitsyn specially for the arrival of Nicholas 2 built a trail for walks, which led to the picturesque bay. This path is now called the Golitsyn trail, and the beach to which the path led is the royal one.

And all the above sights we will visit during our tour. To the royal beach you can walk, you can also ride on a boat.
