Pearls of the Baltic coast (Svetlogorsk - Yantarny)

I invite you to take a car and walking tour to the most beautiful cities of the Baltic coast.

Our tour will begin with a visit to Yantarny. I will tell you the history of the city, about how amber was mined at all times. We will go (optional) to the observation deck of the world’s largest seaside amber deposit, where solar stone is industrially mined, and where a panorama opens, representing an amber quarry from a height of 50 m. On the observation deck is the “Amber Pyramid” – 800 kg of solar stone, which works wonders and has a beneficial effect on human health. Then we will visit (optional) the demonstration hall of the Amber Plant, where you can see unique specimens of solar stone, as well as jewelry and works of stone cutters of amber manufactory. The interactive part of the hall is devoted to the history of the enterprise and mining, the use of amber by man from ancient times to the present, the properties and industrial extraction of solar stone. And, of course, we will get acquainted with other sights of Yantarny, walk along the widest beach in the Kaliningrad region, which received the first Blue Flag in Russia in 2016.

Then we will head to the resort city of Svetlogorsk, where we will also have a walking walk, and where we will get acquainted with the history of the resort, enjoy the silence of the streets, drowning in greenery, breathing in the unique aroma of pines, the sea and exotic plants, go down to the sea, walk along the promenade, see the famous sculpture of G. Brahert “Nymph”, make a wish from the sculpture “Frog Princess” and much, much more. If desired, we can look into one of the cozy cafes, of which there are many in the city, have lunch or have a cup of coffee. In the evening, a little tired, but charged with the energy of the sea, we will return to Kaliningrad.
