Königsberg - Kaliningrad

The city of Kaliningrad is the only city in Europe where all types of fortifications are preserved at a short distance from each other, many of them we will get acquainted with. Where on one street you can see houses built in the 18-19 century, Soviet and modern, the city where there are Gothic churches and Orthodox churches. And many other unusual for Russian tourists, you will find on the streets of the city.

The program of our excursion:

We will pass through the central part of the city, you will see: Victory Square, the sculpture "Fighting bison", the monument to Schiller, the Drama Theater, the Zoo, the Monument to the Cosmonauts, pass through the preserved streets of the elite development area of Koenigsberg - Amalienau, then walk along the Embankment of Peter the Great, where the Museum of the World Ocean is located, I will introduce you to the objects of the museum, if you wish, you will visit a submarine.

Then we move to the island of Kant, this is the former city of Kneiphof we will see the restored architectural monument - the Cathedral, the tomb of I. Kant, the bridge "Honey", as well as the embankment "Fish Village".

You will listen to the concert of organ music in the Cathedral – here is the largest organ in Russia and one of the largest in Europe.

By this time, we'll all be hungry, dining at one of the restaurants or cafes in the city.

Then we will visit the Marzipan Museum, where you will get acquainted with the history of this delicacy.

We will drive along the Lithuanian Wall, we will see fortifications:

Royal Gate, Lithuanian Wall, Kronprinz Tower, Grolman...

And back to Svetlogorsk
