Kortkeros District Historical and Local Lore Museum

The Kortkeros District Museum of Local History was established in 2004. The museum positions itself as the custodian of the historical traditions of the area. Its collections contain more than 22,000 items reflecting the main stages of formation and development of the Kortkeros district.

Residents and guests of the district are invited to visit the halls with three permanent exhibitions: “Komi epic: legends and legends of the Kortkeros district”. Legend of Court Ike, Traditional Life of the Komi People: Peasant Hut of the Early XX Century, Master Teacher: Representative of the Komi Intelligentsia of the Early XX Century.

Exit tours are conducted.

Also for visitors, classes are held with masters of applied creativity in the form of master classes, lectures.

Within the walls of the museum you can buy printing products, souvenirs made by local masters of Komi folk crafts.

MU "Kortkerossky District Museum of Local History" has a branch "Literary Museum of V.A. Savin", located in the village of Nebdino, Kortkeros district.
