Description:

The museum is the educational base and focus of the archaeological and ethnographic expedition of the university. The first collections of the museum were formed on the materials of excavations of archaeological objects. The exhibition of archaeological material reflects the cultural and chronological principle of exhibition, starting from the Mesolithic era. In a separate showcase, preems of cult plastic are exhibited, starting with stone figurines of the Bronze Age and ending with bronze casting of the Perm animal style. The exposition organically inscribed reconstructions of grave structures of the Middle Ages, made according to the rite of ingumation and cremation. Ethnographic materials holistically reflect traditional culture and carry ethnographic information related to the main occupations (farming, livestock, hunting, fishing, domestic crafts), as well as material culture.
