Description: The museum was founded in 1967 and for a long time functioned on a voluntary basis, only in 1989 the museum received the status of an institution of the cultural department of the Priluz district administration and was located in a separate building. The exposition of the museum is presented in four halls: the hall of nature, ethnography, Soviet history, exhibition. The most interesting for visitors are the halls of nature and ethnography. In the nature hall there are animals and birds living in the territory of the Priluz district, as well as geological and entomological collections. The hall of ethnorafia presents exhibits characterizing the traditional household culture of Luz Komi. These exhibits date from the beginning of the XVIII to the beginning of the XX century. It also features items of Orthodox worship: ancient icons and church bells.
