The Museum of Traditional Folk Culture of Sysola is located in a picturesque place of the ancient Komi village of Visinga in the building of the former rural municipality. The expositions present: ethnographic hall - Komi peasant hut of the XVIII century, where there are ancient objects of material culture; Hall of nature - a collection of stuffed birds and animals made by hunter A.Ya.Agafonov, Jurassic fossils - ammonites and belemnites. In the art gallery there are paintings by local artists, products of masters of wood, birch bark, hand weaving. There are branches in the village of Kuratovo - the museum of literary heroes of the first Komi poet I.A. Kuratov, in the village of Mezhador - the museum of a prominent statesman I.P. Morozov, In the village of Vizindor - workshop of traditional crafts "Kebrasa Gernig" - Kuratov maid. |
