Taganrog Museum of Aviation Engineering

347916, Taganrog, Tsiolkovsky St., 41

About the company:

The museum of aviation technology appeared in 1995, when the elimination of aviation equipment began at the central airfield of Taganrog. Vladimir Stoyanov, the founder of the museum, suggested that the command of the army, which owned the planes to be destroyed, keep one copy of each type of aircraft.

Today, the collection of the museum presents various aircraft, including such rare as the Yak-38 vertical takeoff and landing, the MiG-25BM, of which only 40 pieces were produced, and the MiG-23MLD, which took part in combat operations in Afghanistan. In addition to aircraft, among the exhibits of the museum you can see engines, weapons and other aviation equipment.
