The museum covers the ethnography of the Shors and Russians, Old Believers, their way of life, spiritual culture, religious beliefs and beliefs, Orthodox missionary activity, the history of Mountain Shoria, issues of local history. A number of expositions are devoted to the natural features of Mountain Shchoria as a historical and geographical region, the animal world. The museum has a hall of mining and minerals with a collection of ores, minerals and rocks.
