The Church in the Name of the Protection of the Virgin

The Church in the name of the Intercession of the Virgin is located in the very center of the village of Bulashovo, Tobolsk district, Tyumen region. It was built for exactly 38 years. The beginning was made in 1802. The masters who were engaged in the construction of the temple had only tools, and the building material they had to get themselves. They made bricks by mixing local clay with milk and eggs. So the construction took a while. In 1840, the church opened its doors to parishioners. During Soviet power, the Bolsheviks demolished the church bell tower, and the premises of the temple were used for economic needs.

A little later, near the church was made a monument to local residents who died during the Great Patriotic War. Today there are guided tours, where you can see this holy place live, take photos for memory.
