Monument to Tatishchev

One of the visiting cards of the city of Togliatti is considered a monument to Vasily Tatishchev. There is a monument on the embankment, the background for the sculpture is perfect: well-groomed platforms, green spaces, sparkling river waters. The monument to Tatishchev, the founder of Togliatti, was erected here for a reason: it is located next to the city founded by him, which now rests at the bottom of the Zhigulev Sea.
