Sightseeing tour of the center of Tomsk. I invite you to travel back in time. We will start it on Lenin Square in the 21st century, then we will go back 130 years and pass through the business center of the provincial Siberian city. The Great Post Office is the main promenade of old Tomsk. The street is decorated with solid stone buildings built by talented architects on orders of the richest Tomsk merchants. All architectural styles popular in the second half of the 19th century - early 20th century are presented here: from classics to modernity. Each building is special, each has its own history. The picture of the life of the Siberian city will unfold before you, but the twenty-first century will not let us go, will not let us forget that today the Post Office is the central avenue of Lenin. You will feel the life rhythm of a dynamic modern city, see the signs of today. We will reach the University Grove and you will understand why our city is called “Siberian Athens”.
