Historical, cultural and natural museum-reserve "Tomsk Pisnica"

In the south of Western Siberia, in a picturesque corner of the Siberian forest, there is a museum of nature and human history - Tomskaya Pisanitsa. Today it is a dynamically developing modern multidisciplinary cultural complex, successfully combining museum specifics, scientific, cultural and educational activities. For 30 years, it has become a real museum of the XXI century and is rightfully the pride of Kuzbass.

The basis of the museum is the ancient sanctuary "Tomsk Pisnica" - the first in Siberia museumified monument of rock art, a unique complex of history and culture of the peoples of Eurasia. The ancient natural and historical sanctuary contains about 280 drawings. The earliest drawings belong to the end of the Neolithic III-IV thousand BC. e. Many images are unique and are masterpieces of primitive art. The museum has several complex open-air display areas.
