The monument to the famous city resident and famous architect N.A. Lvov in Torzhka was created on the initiative of the Nikolai Alexandrovich Foundation and the city administration, installed in the summer of 2004.
Genre sculpture is located on the Novgorod embankment of the city, and the authorship of the bronze bust on a cylindrical granite pedestal belongs to the famous architect V.P. Gorodovich and sculptor Yu.P. Karpenko. According to the most famous projects of this great architect, poet, folklorist, a real member of the Russian Academy of Arts and a native of the Novotorzh district, various architectural complexes were created, located on the territory of St. Petersburg, Novgorod province and Torzhka.
