Trubchev Museum of Local Lore

The Department of Nature is the oldest department of the museum, which formed its foundation. The exhibition occupies Hall 2. The Department of Nature acquaints with the geological past of the Trubchevsky district, wildlife, natural resources, the activities of the Bryansky Forest Reserve.
Currently, in the collection of this section, visitors can see the main species of plants, animals, birds living in the area, fossils, mineral samples, maps and photo materials telling about the activities of the Bryansk Forest Reserve.
On the basis of the exposition, excursions “Animal and plant world of our region”, “Geological past of our region”, “Complaint book of nature” are held.
