Residents of Tula know that the name Mosolov can easily stand on a par with the Demidov dynasty. Moreover, the Demidovs often said to the Mosolovs that they felt serious competition from their side. Many cast iron and casting plants throughout Russia arose with the filing of members of this talented family of industrialists who grew up on the Tula land.

The village of Dubna was formed largely thanks to the Mosolov enterprise built here. The cast products created in this village were famous all over the world. In 1803, Pyotr Mikhailovich Mosolov built a manor in Dubna, decorating it with cast iron products produced by a local factory. The quality of the castings was phenomenal.

Nowadays, the estate has turned into an interactive, modern, accessible to any tourist Mosolov Museum. Legends fill the halls, and the Mosolov estate continues to live its renewed life. In the photos until 2020, you can see how deplorable the house was. Here lived families who settled during the Soviet era. No one was watching the house and it was slowly decaying. This process was accelerated by the fact that the house was wooden. However, now it is a place of walks and stunning photo shoots. Tula newlyweds often come here to take a memorable photo!
