Kulikovo Field. Pages of heroic history"

It is difficult to understand history from textbooks and dry facts. It's better to see it with your own eyes.

The program "Kulikovo Field: Pages of Heroic History" allows you to visit the place where in 1380 the famous battle between the Mongols of the Golden Horde and the army of Russian Prince Dmitry Donskoy took place.

Today it is a military-historical and natural museum-reserve, visiting which you will feel part of the great Russian history.

Programme plan:

• Departure to Kulikovo Field is the site of a historic battle between the Russian army, led by Dmitry Donskoy, and the Mamay horde. The amazing atmosphere allows you to completely immerse yourself in the ancient era.
• Excursion to the museum of the history of Russian merchants in Pos. Epiphany. This is a great opportunity to get acquainted with the peculiarities of life, family relations, material and spiritual needs of Epiphany merchants.
• Interactive part "Visiting the merchant Baibakov" with tea. A special role in the museum exposition is given to trade, which occupied the main place in the life of the owners of the estate - the burghers of the Baybakovs. The shop allows you to feel the unique flavor of the trade process of that era, the requests of local residents.
• Visit to the museum complex in the village of Monastyrshchyna. It covers several attractions: the Kulikovo Field Museum, the Church of the Nativity of the Virgin, the monument to the Grand Duke of Moscow Dmitry Ivanovich Donskoy, the Alley of Memory and Unity. In the vicinity of the village of Monastyrshchyna is the legendary Green Dubrava - the place of localization of the Russian Ambush Regiment during the battle.
• Tour of the memorial on Red Hill. The obelisk in honor of Prince Dmitry Donskoy was erected here in 1850. This is the oldest memorial of Kulikovo Field. From the monument to the temple of Sergius of Radonezh leads a picturesque alley. The church was built according to the project of the outstanding architect Alexei Shchusev. According to legend, on the Red Hill on the eve of the battle, the Mamai headquarters was located, from here the Horde forces began to move.
