Under the guidance of the master, you will try to work behind the pottery wheel and create your own product. The lesson is held in a ceramic workshop, where the traditions of Tula pottery are preserved. Participants will learn the basics of the craft and feel the plasticity of the natural material. This format combines creativity, recreation and acquaintance with ancient art.

Ceramic fishing in Tula was a traditional occupation of the inhabitants of the city since the XVI century. Tula potters made bricks, and dishes, and tiles, and clay toys. Today, this heritage has been revived and officially protected as the Tula Ceramics brand.
Tula is a traditional pottery region. From the outside, the process looks like an elegant dance, but behind the external ease there is a clear technology and calibration of each movement. The pleasure of contact with ancient craftsmanship will give a sense of renewal.
At the master class “Pottery wheel power” you will create one pottery product and paint it in a traditional style.
All products will undergo 2 firing and will be functional. In the workshop, your products will be iced, burned and in 8 days will be sent to your address SDEC.
