Excursion to Tula Maritime Museum. The exhibition is arranged in chronological order.

  • Shipbuilding of the ancient Slavs and the participation of Tula breeders in the construction of the first warship "Eagle" in 1667-1669: in the windows you can see authentic exhibits (mainly random finds) aged at least two or three centuries. These are cannonballs, forged nails, axes and other items that could well have been related to shipbuilding on the shores of Upa and Oka. The Petrovsky era is closely connected with metallurgical and weapons production - the fleet under construction on the Voronezh River needed everything that Tula produced at that time. To deliver the products of Tula enterprises and manufactories, the Ivanovo Canal was even dug, connecting Moscow with Tula, Voronezh and the Sea of Azov. In addition to reproductions of ancient maps and engravings, the exhibition also presents authentic objects of the era of Peter the Great.
  • The main showcase of the exposition is dedicated to the underwater discovery of Tulaks - the ship "Saint Alexander", which sank in 1786 in Western Crimea at Cape Tarkhankut. The exhibition presents marine navigation and navigator devices, existing manuals and simulators for training in marine science and other rarities that have been inherited from the Young Sailors Club.
