On this individual tour you will relax from the bustle of the big city and plunge into the peaceful atmosphere of the quiet provincial life of the small town of Veneva, located 50 km from Tula. Despite the provinciality and unknownness of its antiquity, unique history and great shrines, incredible lyrical “landscape” and quiet charm of the Russian hinterland, Venev can compete with the most “promoted” tourist cities. The city is secretly called a “competitor” of Kolomna and Suzdal.

Here stands a unique, the highest bell tower of the Tula diocese, and it is here that the oldest monastery on the Tula land operates to this day. Veneuve has its own, ancient Red Square, and according to local historians, in the Middle Ages this city had every chance to become the capital! You will admire the ensembles of the ancient Pokrovsky, Epiphany and Kazan churches, as well as the majestic Resurrection Cathedral, erected no later than 1825. Churches were built at the turn of the XVII and XVIII centuries. The high-rise dominant of the whole city is the stunning 75-meter bell tower of the St. Nicholas Church. Even now, in ruins, it is an incredible and fascinating sight! In general, the entire historical center of Venice has preserved the buildings of the last century, and you can fully enjoy its unique merchant flavor.

One of the main attractions of Venev is an amazing natural phenomenon and a unique Orthodox shrine of all Russia - the famous source of healing holy water "Twelve keys". Great miracles of healing give water springs by faith and prayer. There are even cases of healing from cancer! Today, unique keys are a place of pilgrimage for hundreds of believers. As part of this individual excursion, you can take the grace of holy water in the bath above the spring and take it with you.
