This estate, designed by L. N. Tolstoy, belonged to his sister. Pirogov’s impressions often served as material for the writer’s works. Today Maly Pirogovo is a valuable memorial complex, which includes a well-preserved "house over the key", human, fragments of the park and garden. In 1999, Small Pirogovo became a branch of the museum-estate "Yasnaya Polyana". |
