The name of the first Russian scientist agronomist, encyclopedist of the XVIII-XIX centuries. in recent decades has become widely known both in Russia and abroad and ranks among the names of outstanding figures of science and culture of the world. The main role in the study and promotion of the scientific heritage of A.T. Bolotov today plays a museum, organized in 1988 by the Decree of the Government of the USSR on the site of the ancestral estate of the scientist. Opened to the public in 1993, the museum, despite its remoteness from large settlements and the railway, receives more than 10 thousand visitors annually, conducts educational work, organizes exhibitions, competitions, conferences. With the support of the public and the A.T. Bolotov Foundation (Academician Zhuchenko A.A.), based on archival data, work has begun to restore one of the best estates in Russia, vegetable and medicinal gardens, flower gardens, gardens, buttocks, pond farms, etc. are being revived. Visitors are offered a tour of the house and estate, tea drinking, swimming in ponds, selling medicinal herbs and souvenirs, acquaintance with the creative heritage of A.T.
