Church of the Trinity of Life-Giving Original
172821, Tver region, Andreapoli district, Brosno village.
Description:
The Church of the Life-Giving Trinity is located on the shore of the lake, near the now uninhabited village of Brosno. The dilapidated church building, the abandoned houses of the village and the lake with legends about the monster living in it are perfect for lovers of secluded rest and post-apocalyptic views.
Built in 1761, the church is one of the best religious monuments in the region. The structure was built of brick, some details of the decor of the facade in the Baroque style have been preserved. The entrance to the temple was located in the northern part of the facade, a white stone staircase led to it.
The exterior and interior decoration of the walls have not been preserved, only bare brick walls can be observed. The interior of the church does not stand out, but allows you to assess the size of the temple and imagine its former beauty.
