Ascension Church of the Lord

In the Tver region in a beautiful village with an amazing name Zakholomye Toropetsk district. There is a stone church of the Ascension of the Lord. It was built in 1788 and had two thrones. According to the documents, it was assigned to the Assumption Church of Stolopno. This object is a monument of architecture and has always amazed with its beauty.

Currently, large-scale restoration work is underway, reviving the Orthodox Shrine of this land from the ruins. On voluntary donations, the altar was restored, new rafters and new floors were installed. Money is being sought to restore the roof.
