Fountain on Komsomol Square

In 2007, a musical light fountain was opened in Tver. Citizens and guests of the city come to this fountain every day to distract themselves from work, to walk with children. Near the fountain there are speakers in which classical music is heard, there are also benches where you can enjoy this music. This fountain is the first in Russia of this type. Its size is similar to the circus arena. Its diameter is 14 meters, and the height of the main stream reaches 15 meters. The fountain is equipped with lighting, and the jets, due to special software, move to the beat of music. Every year, many people come to the opening of the fountain, at this time a concert is always organized near it.
