Malinniki Manor
malinniki village, Staritsky district, Tver region
Description:
The Malinniki estate appeared in the XVIII century and existed until the XIX century. From the first days, the estate was owned by P. Osipova-Wulf, a famous lady from secular society. Vodchina was a country residence for her, where she loved to receive her famous guests. Being twice married, it did not hurt her to twist an affair with A.S. Pushkin himself. This is confirmed by their multiple personal correspondence. The poet often visited Malinniki, but their relationship did not go beyond flirting.
Whatever it was, but the estate remembers all its dear guests. Unfortunately, not everything has survived from the rich patrimony to this day. Tourists have a gloomy view of the foundation of the manor house, an overgrown park with centuries-old trees and an old chapel, which was restored in 1972.
