Mikhailovsky Manor
Tver region, Toropetsky district, Mikhailovsky
Description:
The main house is a brick plastered building built in the classical style. The central part is two-story. It is adjacent to covered galleries, forming an architectural composition of great length, ending with one-storey wings.
The extended facades of the wings were oriented parallel to the facade of the main building, which is highlighted by risalites from the courtyard. Between the risalites, apparently, there was a portico with a balcony. Along the covered galleries, on the side facing the front courtyard there were columns (about 20 columns).
The park facade is more modest. The central part is highlighted by a small protrusion of risalite with rusted pilasters. Rusts treated all the facades of the central and side wings. Windows with framed casings and with ears characteristic of earlier decoration.
The height of the floors of the master's house depends on their functional purpose: the first - service, the second - apartments. The exterior is not distinguished by a variety of decorative motifs and elements: rust, frame casings with fan locks and without, rectangular earpieces.
The estate has lost all its components, including the economic complex and park buildings (from the foundations of garden ventures in some places you can see the hills overgrown with grass). The park died, behind the house you can still see dry, frightening kind of snags sticking out of the ground - the remains of centuries-old trees. Needless to say, the interiors of the palace are no longer there.
