28 km from Torzhok, Tver region

Description:

Mlevichi's patrimony is the Shishkov family country estate. It appeared at the beginning of the XVIII century. He passed from generation to generation several times. Each time the new owner of the estate upset and expanded. The only thing that remains unchanged is the church.

In the XIX century, the estate was put up for auction. Due to the numerous buildings, the estate was very expensive and no one dared to buy such an expensive property. Then it was decided to sell the estate in parts.

To date, from the ancestral nest of Shishkovs remained the owner's house. The building stands on a hill. It is clearly visible from all sides. The house is decorated with luxurious porticoes, columns, three-part windows and eaves between floors.

The iconic church is also new, despite the fact that it was built in 1764. A year later, the bell tower was erected. Near the temple there is a parish school.
