Manor Nikolskoye-Cherenchitsa
nikolskoe village, Torzhoksky district, Tver region
Description:
The patrimony appeared at the end of the XVIII century thanks to the famous architectural architect N.A. Lviv. It was his ancestral nest. In Nikolsky, the master of his craft realized all the ideas conceived. There is no such estate anywhere in Russia. It's all thought out.
The main attraction of the estate, of course, the bars. A huge three-storey building in the Romanesque style. The first floor is decorated with rust, the rest with rich porticoes with columns. There are two wings on the sides.
After the main house, attention is drawn to the cellar in the form of a pyramid, made according to the latest squeak of modernity. It has a ventilation chamber, an underground department, and a ground room for rest in the heat. The outside is also decorated with garlands and ornaments.
The manor has its own church. The Temple of the Resurrection appeared simultaneously with other buildings of the estate. But Lviv paid special attention to her. He always dreamed that the sunset and dawn would be visible from behind the church, that the golden domes would burn with fire. That's basically what happened. The temple was dear to him not only for this reason. In the dungeons of the monastery was the family crypt of the Lvivs.
