Bologoe Railway Station
Description:
Bologoe-1 railway station, a large node extra-class railway station in the city of Bologoe on the main course of the October railway Moscow - St. Petersburg, as well as on lines to Pskov, Veliky Luki and Sonkovo. The station is known for being located almost in the middle between Moscow and St. Petersburg.
The station was opened in 1851. Built according to the standard project of architect R. A. Zhelyazevich, assistant Konstantin Ton.
The station was awarded the Order of the Patriotic War of the I degree (4 May 1985) - for services in providing the Soviet Army and Navy during the Great Patriotic War.
