Park of machine builders in the city Zavodoukovsk

The park of machine builders in Zavodoukovsk was founded by workers of the Novozaim grain farm in the 1930s. During the Great Patriotic War, the park turned into vegetable gardens, which were broken up here, by employees of the aircraft factory evacuated from Voronezh to escape hunger. After the war, the park was empty and overgrown.

Only in the 21st century was it decided to restore the city park. Extensive reconstruction of the park territory was carried out: lawns and flowerbeds were laid here, paths were laid, benches and sculptures were installed, children's playgrounds and sports grounds were equipped. The main decoration of the park was a monument to A. S. Moskalev, a famous aircraft designer who worked in Zavodoukovsk during the Second World War.
