Ishim is connected with the lives of many famous people. One way or another, the chief designer of the Ostankino TV Tower Nikolai Nikitin is involved in Ishim.

Nikolai Nikitin was born on December 15, 1907 in Tobolsk. His father, a printing engineer, was dismissed from service for his role in the revolution and worked as a court clerk. In 1911, the family moved to Ishim, where Nikolai graduated from the parish school and the first class of the male gymnasium, and his mother opened the photo in 1914. In 1919, the family together with the retreating Kolchak troops left for Novonikolaevsk (Novosibirsk).
