Monument to the outstanding oilman V.I. Muravlenko

In June 2002, a bronze bust of V. I. Muravlenko, the Lenin Prize laureate, Hero of Socialist Labor, was installed near the building of Giprotyumenneftegaz. Its height is about 3 meters. The monument to the creator of the energy complex of the country is located on the right side of the entrance to the building - the brainchild of Viktor Ivanovich. Behind it is a small well-groomed flower bed with annual flowering plants.

During the anniversaries of Viktor Ivanovich Muravlenko and professional holidays of the oil industry, flowers are traditionally laid at the monument. Muravlenko is a whole epoch in the history of the oil industry of Russia. His name is given to a street in the regional center and a city in the Tyumen Territory.
