Description:
The station square of Zavodoukovsk station is considered the historical heart of the city. And this is not accidental, because from this area the construction of the Zavodoukovsk center began. From here with tears escorted the countrymen who went to the front in 1941. And here in May forty-fifth met the winners.
On the station square was opened in 1985, a memorial dedicated to the memory of the soldiers of Zavodoukovsk. During the competition for the title of “Pearl of the Land of Zavoduklovskaya”, the square received the largest number of votes of citizens.
The station square is decorated with the ancient building of the Zavodoukovskaya station, which was built about a century ago.
