St. George's Temple

St. George's Church is a modern Orthodox church in the city of Zavodoukovsk. The parish of the church was organized in 1992, a year later a place was consecrated for the construction of a new church. The temple itself was built in the favorite townspeople Kolmakovo Park by 2006 and named in honor of the great martyr George the Victorious, who is considered the heavenly patron of Zavodoukovsk.

The temple not only became a symbol of the city, but also a symbol of the spiritual and moral revival of the Siberians.

The church has a Sunday school, as well as a library in the basement, the fund of which has about two thousand books, audio and video materials.
