Holy Trinity Church

Tyumen region, Yurginsky district, Yurginskoye village, Lenin Street, 69

Description:

The Holy Trinity Church was built in the village of Yurginskoye at the turn of the XIX and XX centuries on the site of the old church. The new temple was a stone two-storey church, which was built on the donations of parishioners. The upper limit of the church was consecrated in the name of the Holy Trinity, and the lower limit in honor of the Three Hierarchs.

In the thirties of the last century, the church was closed, its property was stolen, and the bell tower was destroyed. In its premises there was a warehouse and stable of breeding horses, then a tractor school. In the postwar period, the temple buildings were used as a club and a cinema.

The revival of religious life in the Holy Trinity Church occurred at the beginning of the nineties of the last century: the bell tower was restored and divine services began.
