St. Vladimir's Temple

Tyumen region, Yalutorovsky district, Petelino village, Sverdlov str., 19

Description:

St. Vladimir Church in the village of Petelino, Yalutorovsk district, is the only surviving church building. The temple was built of wood by the architect Tsinge V.K. from Tobolsk in 1895.

Previously, there were two chapels and a temple on the territory of the village of Petelino, but, unfortunately, during the Soviet regime they were destroyed. Only St. Vladimir’s Church survived, which was in a dilapidated and plundered state.

In the XXI century, the St. Vladimir Church began to be restored: a major overhaul was carried out, a new bell tower was built. Divine services in the church resumed.
