Novoselov Manor
ooh Khokhryakova, 21, Tyumen, Tyumen region, Russia
Description:
One of the many architectural attractions of Tyumen is the Novoselov Estate, located on the corner between Dzerzhinsky and Khokhryakov streets. Once it was an extensive household owned by Afanasy Grigorievich Novoselov, a peasant of the Turin district, and then his son, a merchant Ivan Afanasyevich. To date, a residential house and a wing have remained from the estate.
The residential house of the Novoselov Estate is a wooden structure erected on a brick foundation, cut down with a pentagonal five-wall. From the side of the yard there is a small extension of a covered porch with living quarters. The wing was erected in the early 1900s. This is a beautiful brick building that served as a trade and economic complex. The building included a shop, a carriage with which the stable was connected, as well as various storerooms. In the 1990s, the monument was overhauled by the project of the famous architect A. I. Klimenko.
