Yadryshnikov Manor
ooh Republic, 17, Tyumen, Tyumen region, Russia
Description:
One of the many architectural attractions of Tyumen is the Yadryshnikov Manor, consisting of an outbuilding and two adjacent buildings. The corner house was built in the 1890s, later it was slightly expanded. Part of the Yadryshnikov estate is a two-storey brick structure, which is one of the most characteristic works of eclecticism, marked by the influence of pseudo-Russian architectural style.
The second part of the estate is a two-storey house built in 1909. On the first floor there is a shop, and on the second - living quarters. Built between the houses of Vorobeychikova and Yadryshnikov, it forms part of the continuous front of the historic quarter. Its elegant facade is made in the best traditions of the “brick style”.
The wing, formerly part of the estate, was originally a one-storey stone building of small size with a modest decor of facades. In the 1990s, after reconstruction, a basement wooden floor was erected above the building, stylized as architecture of the XIX - XX centuries. Today, the Department of Education of the Tyumen Administration is located here.
