JSC Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug - Ugra, Nizhnevartovsky district, Agan p., Rybnikov str., 25
About the company:
The official opening of the institution took place in February 1996. The museum rallied the indigenous people of the village and became a national and cultural center.
The idea of creating an ethnographic museum arose from Fekla Semenovna Bondarenko in the early 80s, when she worked as the chairman of the executive committee of the Agan Village Council.
The exposition fully tells about each nationality, describing their life and customs. The most valuable in the collection are stringed musical instruments, coins, bone products, clay ovens and real sarts.
The main direction in the activities of the museum is theatricalization of samples of the folklore of the Agan Khanty. During the work, the museum organized the production of various types of souvenir products among local residents.
