Historical and Local Lore Museum "Legends of Grey "Irtysh"

Historical and local lore museum "Legends of gray "Irtysh" is located in the building of the village administration in the village of Uvat, Tyumen region. The museum began in 1967 with a school exhibition and about military and labor glory. Then the exhibition began to expand thanks to teachers-intuitives who created the school team “Search”, which was engaged in the study of historical documents about the Uvatov district and the collection of exhibits.

In 2008, the museum exposition moved to the administration building. Currently, the museum consists of eight halls, which reveal the history of the region since ancient times, legends, customs, nature of the region and its inhabitants.
